Carlos Gracie was the first Brazilian to learn Japanese Jiu-Jitsu over 80 years ago, by Judo and Jiu-jitsu Master Mitsuyo Maeda, Over many decades, Carlos Gracie and his family dedicated their lives,  to improve their skill in Jiu-Jitsu. Being a  man of small stature, Carlos saw that even a weak person physically has an equal chance to win in both battle and in life, as long as they have the confidence, to not let anyone or any situation intimidate them.
